Brings together Warkworth artist Roger Williams and Self-Publishing Facilitator Frank Nunan of Write-On Publishing to offer
a number products derived from Roger’s Pen and Wash paintings of Warkworth’s Historic Buildings
Roger williams
Roger Williams, a resident of Warkworth for the past 15 years, lives at the Warkworth Oaks Retirement Village located in the heart of the CBD.
He is deeply involved in conservation efforts through Forest and Bird, Warkworth Area, and has contributed to the Tawharanui Regional Park and Open Sanctuary.
Since moving to Warkworth, Roger has actively promoted responsible growth through community engagement.
Roger’s professional career as a design engineer provided him with the opportunity to collaborate closely with architects, fuelling his lifelong passion for drawing. In recent years, he has focused on creating paintings in watercolour and ink, with these sketches serving to portray the enduring character of the town.
Roger hopes that this essence will be remembered as Warkworth continues to develop and grow.

FRANK NUNAN
Frank Nunan is a skilled and highly experienced publishing facilitator specialising in proofreading, editing, book formatting and design, and eBook creation and conversions. Frank is a journalist and editor by profession and he worked on various leading Southern African newspapers such as The Star and the Sunday Times in his youth. He was a pioneer in the Desktop Publishing industry, as far back as the early 1970s, and has launched, edited and produced several magazines.
After moving to the coast from Johannesburg and semi-retiring in 2011, he began his publishing facilitation business, offering proofreading, editing and self-publishing services to, initially to Catholic authors. This was expanded to the secular world in 2016 with the launch of Write-On Publishing.
Frank and his wife Sylvia moved to New Zealand in 2023 to be near their son and his family, including two grandsons.
He has to date published more than 150 books, for more than 80 authors, now including some from Warkworth, New Zealand.
He is proficient in Adobe InDesign and Kotobee Author (for eBook creation) and is also a Self-published Author.
